IndiGo adds 9 new flights to network including 1 for Ahmedabad

No-frills carrier IndiGo has added nine new flights on its domestic network including a daily service on the Varanasi-Goa via Mumbai and Varanasi-Kolkata routes, starting today.
The other destinations from where new services have been launched include Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Lucknow, among others, the airline said in a release.
IndiGo has also added a second daily flight from Bengaluru to Varanasi as part of the route network expansion, it said.
Also a second daily non-stop flight between Varanasi and Mumbai and a second daily direct service from Ahmedabad to Pune has been introduced from today, the release said.
The airline has also rolled out the eighth daily non-stop flight between Delhi and Lucknow, besides launching a sixth daily direct flight between Mumbai and Goa.
“The increased flow of tourist and business traffic to and from these cities gave us just the opportunity to allow passengers to experience the hassle-free and on-time performance.
“We are certain that these flights will be prove to be immensely popular and convenient to our passengers,” IndiGo President Aditya Ghosh said.
With the launch of these new services, IndiGo now operates 647 daily flights connecting 38 destinations, it said.
