Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel today while addressing a group of invited members from various communities in Gandhinagar said that Honda company representatives recently visited her to inform that their scooter plant in Gujarat is ready for opening in next one month. The Chief Minister further said that Honda company has sought date from Chief Minister’s office for inauguration of the plant, she added. Anandiben pointed out that she had performed ground breaking for this plant. It should be noted that Honda is building world’s largest scooter plant in terms of production capacity in north Gujarat. Chief Minister pointed out recent World Bank report suggesting Gujarat as the most business friendly state in India. She added that such achievement is not easy and it takes lots of effort on state part to achieve such position.
