Jayman Upadhyay has become Mayor of Rajkot Municipal Corporation while Dr Darshita Shah has been elected Deputy Mayor.Pushkar Patel has been made Chairman of Standing Committee. Raju Aghera has been made whip.

In Jamnagar, Pratibhaben Kankhara has been elected as Mayor while Bharat Maheta as Deputy Mayor. Kamlasinh Rajput has been made Standing Committee Chairman. Dharmrajsinh Jadeja has been made ruling party head while Divyesh Akbari has been appointed as Whip.

BJP won six municipal corporations in recently held civic polls.
