Vibrant Gujarat Business Women National Conclave kicks off

The Vibrant Gujarat Business Women National Conclave began today with the opening ceremony of the Garima Exhibition inaugurated by actress Raveena Tandon. Noted spiritual leader Param Pujya Shri Morari Bapu was also present at the conclave to shower his blessings. The first day saw a number of participation by the Government Officials from Gujarat Tourism, Industries Commissionerate, iNDEXTb, Amdavad Municipal Corporation, NSIC etc, and other delegates from all over the country. The three-day conclave organized by GCCI – Business Women Wing in partnership with the Indian Merchant’s Chamber provided women entrepreneurs with a platform to make a mark in local and national markets.

The day included B2B, B2G and B2C interactions and Workshop Sessions. The workshop sessions included Quick, Healthy & Nutritious cooking for busy entrepreneurs by cookery expert and a session on the topic of Art & Women by Flo Art expert Kalpana Amin. The day ended with Happy Hours for fitness and health, with Iyengar Yoga by Hetal Desai and Zumba by Maurieen Simon. More than 100 stalls have been put up at the exhibition to promote women entrepreneurship.

Ms. Grishma Trivedi, Chairperson of the GCCI Business Women Wing believes that “Any nation that has a vision to educate its girls or employ its women citizen should allow them the freedom and support to maximize their potential and add to the nation’s economy. If you are different, you will definitely stand out. Our goal for Vibrant Gujarat Business Women National Conclave 2015 is transparent and we aim to empower women, Power Business and Power growth.”

In the entrepreneur corner, a session on author connexion and books was conducted by Smt. Ilaxiben Patel where book enthusiasts came together to share stories. On the other hand, women entrepreneurs shared their success stories while encouraging and motivating each other.

Day 1 of the Vibrant Gujarat Business Women National Conclave proved to be a huge success with a grand footfall. There is a lot to look forward to in the next two days. Events ranging from a Heritage Walk of the city of Ahmedabad, Swayamsidhdha Award ceremony to felicitate entrepreneurs, a fashion show to portray clothes, jewellery and lifestyle items that have been made by the entrepreneurs themselves, sessions on Digital India and Make in India, Round Table talk on Gender Diversity and Equality etc have made their way onto the schedule of this conclave. This conclave will indeed help and support a lot of rising as well as established entrepreneurs in reaching their goals.
