Ram Temple an invaluable part of India’s history: Swamy

While speaking at the Delhi University’s seminar on Ram Janmabhoomi here on Saturday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy said the re-construction of the Ram Temple holds significance in the whole country. He added the Ram Temple is an invaluable part of India’s history and culture which requires attention. He also stated that the renewal of the Ram Temple is underway and the NDA Government would not back out from this.

NDA Govt. not against peaceful protesting: Swamy

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy on Saturday said the Delhi University seminar on Ram Janmabhoomi will see the coming of intellectuals and professors speaking about archaeological facts and legal arguments on the same. He said the NDA Government is not against peaceful protesting but the irrational statements being made by antagonists, which is nothing but their ire against the party.

NSUI protests against Ram Janmabhoomi seminar in DU

The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) members staged a protest outside the Vice Chancellor’s office on Saturday against the Delhi University’s decision to allow a seminar on Ram Janmabhoomi temple. The agitators sat on a protest outside the Vice Chancellor’s office and raised slogans against him. One of the protester said that the university is a place where programs regarding job providing should be initiated, rather than such seminars as it raises mixed feelings among the students.

Police detain activists protesting against Ram Janmabhoomi seminar

Police officials on Saturday detained activists and students protesting against the Ram Janmabhoomi seminar at the Delhi University (DU). The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) members had earlier sat on a protest outside the Vice Chancellor’s office, saying that programs which divide the students on the basis of their religion, should not be allowed in the university.
