Pakistani intruder held in Kutch, 2 intruders held earlier get 3-month jail

Border Security Force(BSF) has apprehended a Pakistani man when he tried to cross the border illegally in Kutch district of Gujarat, its officials said today.
“We have apprehended a man named Riyaz Bhatti who tried to illegally cross the border last evening,” BSF officials said.
“He was apprehended from border pillar number 1005, which is unfenced,” they said, adding that the man is in his early 50s and belongs to Punjab province of Pakistan.
He will be handed over the Rapar police and they will take him to Joint Interrogation Centre of Bhuj, where various central agencies will interrogate him.
BSF officials said they have recovered some currency notes and a match box from the man.
In another development, two Pakistani intruders who were held at Kutch border about one and half year ago by BSF have been ordered 3 month imprisonment and Rs 50 fine. Both were held on 5th June in year 2014 between G pillar number 1122 and 1123. They are identified as Bilavar Muhammad Ishaq Rayma(35) from Gunish, Badin and Manohar Manthar Jogi Fakir(22) from Badin. They were booked under Foreign Act in Nara police station. As they were not able to hire a lawyer, they were provided free legal aid.
