Lauding the “sharp focus” of Narendra Modi government, industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla today said there is a change in business sentiment.
“There is a change in the business evident. You can see the FDI inflows for it,” Birla told PTI after the speech by Modi at the NSCI Stadium here.
Hinting at people to have patience, Birla said no change can happen immediately and it will take time.
Citing the case of an increase in highway development to doing 30 km of roads a day, he lauded the administration’s “sharp focus”.
Earlier in the day, Modi launched the largest-ever manufacturing summit MII Week here in the presence of heads of state, a battery of business leaders and foreign delegates.
Over 2,500 international and 8,000 domestic companies are participating in the week-long multi-sectoral industrial event, which is also being attended by foreign government delegations from 68 countries and business teams from 72 nations.
