Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) in Gujarat will finally get its new State Unit President on 19th of February.

According to a programme of election of new party president announced by the State BJP, nomination will be filed on Friday, February 19 after 11.00 am. After scrutiny of form during 12.00 – 12.30 pm, formal announcement of new party president will be made at 12.39 pm vijay muhurat.

State party incharge and national vice president of party Dr. Dinesh Sharma, State election observer Shri Arjun Meghval, National Joint Organization General Secretaru Shri V.Satish, Chief Minister smt Anandiben Patel and National Vice President of party Shri Parshottam Rupala along with outgoing State Unit President Shri RC Faldu will remain present on this occassion.

3 MPs, 95 district wise representatives, MLAs, and d25 district president – in total 135 voters will be able to cast their vote if needed(if more than one nomination form is filed which is not going to happen).

BJP was to declare its State Unit President post Makarsanrkranti(15 January) this year. The appointment was delayed as final decision was to be taken in Delhi.
