Gujarat Gas and Gujarat Housing Board join hands for PNG supply to homes

Gujarat Gas Limited, India’s largest city gas distribution company, has joined hands with the Gujarat Housing Board (GHB) to provide piped natural gas (PNG) to homes built under the ‘Chief Minister’s Housing Scheme’ as well as other housing schemes of GHB.
The Government of Gujarat is determined to fulfill its vision of making Gujarat a “gas-based economy”. The government is expanding the gas pipeline network across the state so as to increase the usage of natural gas by consumers and thereby reduce pollution and protect the environment around us. At present Gujarat Gas supplies PNG to almost 10.70 lakh households across the state.
All those who are residing in Gujarat Housing Board’s schemes in the above mentioned places, will have to get in touch with Gujarat Gas’s office in their respective towns so as to avail the benefit of uninterrupted supply of environment friendly PNG connections for cooking purpose. Also, for all upcoming and future housing schemes of GHB in these areas, Gujarat Gas will provide PNG connections to all residential units who want to avail of this clean energy facility.
At present Gujarat Gas offers PNG connection and expanding its network in the following places:
Gujarat Gas has emerged as India’s largest city gas distribution player with presence spread across 19 districts in the state of Gujarat and Union Territory of Dadra Nagar Haveli and Thane, which includes Palghar district of Maharashtra. It is engaged in providing PNG to domestic, industrial, commercial and CNG for the automotive sector in its operating areas. The company has India’s largest customer base in major user segments: 10,70,000 domestic households, 2,800 industrial customers, 11,800 commercial customers and over 5,00,000 CNG users.
