Recarpeting work at Ahmedbad airport will continue for year

20 flights operating between 10 am and 6 pm on Sardar Patel airport in Ahmedabad are canceled due to ongoing recarpeting work on runway. After 15 years recarpeting by Airport Authority of India(AAI) on Ahmedabad airport has been started after process of Rs 47 crore tender. The recarpeting work has been started since 25 February and the entire work will be completed in two phases. The first phase works will be over on 15 April and the second phase works will start on 16 April. The recarpeting work will continue till March 2017.
