Gujarat girls to embark on Surat to Singapore bike tour

Four female bikers from ‘Biking Queen Group’ in Surat will travel to Singapore via seven other countries through 15,000 km route. The 40-day long journey which is likely to kick off in upcoming June will cover Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Malaysia beside India and Singapore. Team members Dr Sarika Mehta, Khyati Desai, Yugma Desai and Durriya Tapla recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and received his well wishes for this adventurous bike tour. The government of India may provide a dedicated vehicle and person to help the bikers in terms of safety and procedures. Gujarat Chief Minister is likely to flag-off this trip in first week of June.
