Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation(GMC) is distributing daily 120 litre butter milk for free among its employees in field and citizens to counter the impact of heat.

The initiative kicked off on 18 April and it is going since then.

Main benificieries of this initiative are sweepers, drivers, health workers and other staff members of GMC, but they are not the only beneficiaries.

Local citizens are served with butter milk outside the GMC office gate, distribution center in sector 22, 7, 6, 16, 22, 20, 21, 28 etc.

Daily 145 to 150 pouches of butter milk totaling 120 litre are distributed among citizens.
