Govt nod for Rs 893 core Hafeshwar water supply project

Gujarat government has given approval to Rs 893 crore group water supply project based on Dahod district bulk pipeline. The project will provide drinking water to 345 villages and 4 towns of Dahod and Chhota Udepur districts of central Gujarat.
According to Chief Minister Anandiben Patel, Dahod south rural belt’s basin(Hafeshwar) oriented bulk pipeline scheme and group water supply project will ensure drinking water supply to 285 villages, 1 city, Garbada and Dhanpur rurban villages and Chhota Udepur and Devgadhbaria cities.
Under this project, Rs 475.52 crore bulk pipeline works in Dahod district southern belt and Rs 417.51 crore water supply works for 12 various group water supply projects in Dahod and Chhota Udepur districts will be completed.
