Civil Aviation Minister to meet representatives of two Facebook groups from Surat

Surat: Union Civil Aviation minister Ashok Raju has given appointment to ‘We want working Surat airport’ and ‘Surat airport action committee’ group members to hear their grievances and demands.
Both groups are formed by common citizens mainly through online efforts. While ‘We want…’ group has around 60,000 members on Facebook, the other group ‘Surat airport action ….’ has nearly 39,000 members in Facebook group. Both groups seek more flights to Surat airport and rational fare.
Civil Aviation minister has asked four members of We want working Surat airport group and three members of Surat airport action committee group to come and meet on 8 July at 12.30 pm at his office in Delhi.
