Bhuj: The Border Security Force (BSF) has nabbed at least two Pakistani fishing boats from Haraminala area near border pillar 1162 in the bordering area of Kutch district in Gujarat.
The number of seized Pakistani boats might go up as search operation of the BSF was still on in and around the area close to the border with the neighbouring country.
A DIG rank official of BSF said that the patrolling team of the force first notice one small Pakistani boat with two persons in it near border pillar 1162.
‘By the time they reached there the duo ran away and crossed in to the Pakistani territory which is quite close by. Later one more such unmanned boat was recovered from a nearby area. The search operation to look for any more such boats was still on. There is nothing objectionable in the motor fitted small boats. A small amount of fish has been recovered from each one of the two seized boats,’ He said.
Notably, a Pakistani intruder was also nabbed near the border two days ago. The 30 year old Pak national caught near border pillar 1121 on July 10 said that he entered the Indian territory inadvertently.
