ICICI Bank tower Vadodara gets Green Building Council award for green interiors

Mumbai; Providing a major impetus to CII- Indian Green Building Council’s (IGBC) efforts in greening interiors, today ICICI Bank Tower in Vadodara and ICICI Bank Limited in Mumbai was awarded with Platinum rating under IGBC Green Interiors Rating System at a programme organised in Vadodara.
Some of the features incorporated in ICICI Bank tower include-fresh air ventilation for air treatment and supply, excellent daylighting, live monitoring of comfort conditions including- temperature, relative humidity, CO2.
IGBC Green Interiors Rating System which was launched in October 2015 focuses on enhancing the indoor aesthetics, air quality and comfort of occupants. IGBC Green Interiors Rating facilitates in reduction in investment for power & water infrastructure; better acoustics & ergonomics; encourages locally manufactured material.
Ms Chanda Kochhar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, ICICI Bank Limited highlighted that “ICICI Bank is committed to adopt & promote energy efficiency and other natural resources. She appreciated the infrastructure team of ICICI Bank for their achievement.
Expressing delight over this remarkable achievement, Dr Prem C Jain, Chairman, IGBC highlighted that, ICICI Bank has set an excellent example. Its accomplishment is indeed commendable, he underlined.
Present at the programme included: Mr Bhavesh Shah, Chairman, IGBC Vadodara Chapter; Ms Neetu Jain, Co – Chair, IGBC Vadodara Chapter and Mr S Srinivas, Deputy Executive Director, CII-IGBC.
