Gujarat CM lays foundation stone of Raksha Shakti University at Lavad

Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel laid the foundation stone of Raksha Shakti University which will be constructed in 230 acres of Lavad village situated in Gandhinagar district.
Mrs. Patel expressed her confidence and said that Gujarat’s Raksha Shakti University course will provide well-equipped workforce against ongoing crimes happening through modern technologies. She said that the University was established in year 2010 and in a short span of 6 years people of Gujarat witnessed an appreciable progress in the field of internal security which provides approach towards well-equipped human resources.
The Raksha Shakti University campus will be completed within 18 Months and will be a concept of Green Building. Raksha Shakti University is now engaged in to providing Post Graduation and Ph.D. courses like Diploma in Police Science, BA-Security Management, Industrial Security, Cyber Security, she added. She also expressed hope that, this will be the leading university of a country by introducing new courses in future. Students of State and Country are availing benefits of establishments of Universities like Children’s University, Petroleum University, and Forensic Science University commenced considering future needs.
On the occasion, Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department Mr. P. K. Taneja and Director General of Police Mr. P. P. Pandey said that this university will contribute its best to provide knowledge in subjects of defense. While architect of this university and Padmashree award Winner Mr. Balkrishna Doshi, District Collector Mr. Satish Patel Senior Officers of Police Department and University Students were remained present.
