Raje inaugurates centralised kitchen of Akshay Patra in Ajmer

Ajmer:Chief Minister Vasundhra Raje here today inaugurated a central kitchen of NGO ‘Akshay Patra,’ which runs the world’s largest mid-day meal programme.
This kitchen can cater to 24 thousand students at a time.
Later, the CM inaugurated Smart Class Room Scheme in Senior Secondary School, Topdara, here, Collector Gorav Goyal said.
At a public meeting at regional College ground here, she appealed people to made Total Sanitation Programme a success.
The CM informed that Bhakti Sangeet Mahotsav will be organised in Pushkar in December and tourists from all over the world will participate in it.
Raje is on a two-day visit to Ajmer for the state level Independence Day function. She will hoist National Flag at 9:05 AM tomorrow at Patel Ground here.
“Security has been beefed up and extra police pickets would be there at several junctures of the city besides QRT and additional police personnel,” a police officer said.
He said all the senior police officers have been asked to increase patrolling and vigorous checking at every nook and corner of city.
