Ahmedabad: Convenors of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti(PAAS) Chirag and Ketan Patel today in a statement raised some hard issues against PAAS leader Hardik Patel. Following are the excerpts from the letter:

Due to your wrong decision, your ambition to become a leader, your selfishness and your wish to use community as a tool to become richer, you have caused tremendous damage to community. The community is suffering serious repercussions due to you.

Forget clashes among communities(that you triggered), today because of you, there’s a situation of clashes within the Patidar community. Yesterday’s Unjha pilgrim place incident was a blot. Unjha is center of faith for Patidar community. It has happened for the first time in the history of Unjha Mandir that it has earned bad name. We want to convey you an open warning to stop because enough is enough.

You had said that you will have first bullet on your chest for community. Thousands of youths came out in open to resist keeping faith in your statement. Many were shot down by police bullets. Many gave life for our community. Many were injured. Many went to jail among whom were Hardik, Chirag, Ketan, Dinesh, Nilesh who suffered imprisonment under serious charges including sedition. However these days in social media and (mainstream) media, you sing songs about how you went to jail for community. Your are into useless attempts to win the feelings of Patidar community. You should not forget that you alone were not in jail. We too went to jail under same charges and in same cases. But those who martyred during the movement were unique. Their contribution was invaluable. Even if Patidar community build golden palaces for their families, the loss they have suffered can not be recovered. Even after that, none of families of martyrs has given a single statement against community. Hail the mothers of those martyred.

But you only chant one thing that you went to jail. We want to say that we all went to jail. But against those who gave life, our jail period was nothing.

We are sad for the fact that instead of extending help to martyrs, you, your Vipulkaka and your personal friends are living luxurious life.

And entire community knows that.

From the money collected in the name of martyrs and the agitation, you and your uncle Vipulkaka both travel in luxurious cars.

You should not forget what was your and Vipulkaka’s condition before the quota agitation.

Generally, a person who’s in jail would not have any mode of income, but in your case it was other way round. You became crorepati(out of nothing when in jail). ‘Wah Hardik wah’.

It was disappointment for us when we saw a family of one of the persons named Pratik impacted due to agitation. His family was badly searching for rented flat.

You were making fake loud claims that you will have first bullet on your chest for the community. But you don’t have even a single word to say for those who were hit by bullet.

First a community would be built and then through that the nation would be built, but Hardik you built your own house, and made community battling within. You are faking when you talk about building the nation.
