Gujarat Governor given additional charge of Madhya Pradesh

New Delhi:The government is yet to name the successors of Governors of Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh.
Governor of Maharashtra Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao was today given additional charge of Tamil Nadu where the tenure of incumbent K Rosaiah ended yesterday.
Similarly, Gujarat Governor O P Kohli has been asked to discharge the functions of the Governor of Madhya Pradesh where incumbent Ram Naresh Yadav’s tenure will end on September 7, a Rashtrapati Bhawan communique said.
These are the last few governors who were appointed during the UPA regime.
