Gujarat BJP hits at state in-charge of AAP Asutosh for favouring rape accused minister and insulting Mahatma Gandhi

Gandhinagar: The ruling Bhartiya Janata Party in Gujarat, the home state of Mahatma Gandhi, today expressed strong objection to the statement of Aam Admi Party spokesperson and in-charge of the party affairs in the state, Asutosh in which he has allegedly compared the conduct of rape accused minister of Delhi Sandeep Kumar with that of the father of the nation.

BJP state unit’s spokesperson Bharat Pandya today said that the AAP leader and in-charge of the party’s so called Mission Gujarat has grossly insulted the nation and Mahatma Gandhi by comparing the nasty and immoral act of his minister with the conduct of the great leader.

‘The people of Gujarat won’t forgive this shameless logic of AAP party which is nothing but an attempt to justify the immoral conduct of its minister,’ Mr Pandya said adding that how the party dared to insult the great leaders of the nation soon after making indecent remarks against a revered Jain saint Tarun Sagarji.

He said that the attempt of the party to malign leaders like Gandhiji, Ram Manohar Lohiya and Atal Ji after insulting a religious person shows that AAP which is involved neck deep in corruption, acts of crime and other immoralities, can stoop any low.

The BJP spokesperson questioned the intention of the former woman and child welfare minister of Delhi Sandeep Kumar behind his act of making video of his immoral act with a lady. ‘The police complaint by the victim and her statement before the media today has given a criminal and immoral identity to AAP party. The minister crossed all limits of perversion by physically exploiting the lady after giving her an inebriating drink while she had gone to visit him in connection with issuance of a ration card. On the one hand CM Arvind Kejriwal was saying that he had cleared the pond of the rotten fish by suspending the minister while on the other hand Asutosh was trying to justify the nasty act of the minister by maligning the great leaders and showing his own perverted mindset,’ he said.

The BJP spokesperson also appealed all the Gandhians to oppose AAP party for the act which has hurt the honour and traditions of the nation and its great leaders.

‘All over the world Gujarat is known as Mahatma Gandhiji’s Gujarat and now the Mission Gujarat In-charge of AAP Ashutosh has grossly insulted the great leader and in his blog also made such indecent and shameful remarks against Indian women which can make the head of any citizen bent down with shame. The BJP was saying right from the beginning that AAP was indulged in Cheap and Nasty politics,’ Mr Pandya said.
