The project is very crucial for development of corner-located Bhavnagar portion of Saurashtra. It will put aloof town Bhavnagar en-route.

Unlike Mehsana, Surat, Vadodara, the town Bhavnagar doesn't offer any major national/regional pass through.Dahej-Ghogha link is way out.

However it is difficult to predict the success of this project as contrary to consultancy report, some believe sea is rough and not favorable

Idea was to create an alternate to a very long coastal bridge connecting south Gujarat to Saurasthra which could be very costly/not feasible

Ro-ro ferry as planned would carry loads of trucks, cars, other vehicles, people from one end & drop them at the other end for further journey

If succeeds by defeating geography and financial viability linked challenges, definitely a very good achievement. https://t.co/asomWWMSFz
