Bharuch: President of India Dr Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate Sevashram hospital in Rajya Sabha member Ahmed Patel’s native place Bharuch in central Gujarat on October 23.

Ahmed Patel visited Bharuch in order to review the progress of the hospital project and preparations pertaining to its inauguration by President of India next month.

The hospital belongs to independence era of last century. It is being revamped under supervision of Ahmed Patel. A 120-bed hospital will be inaugurated by President in the afternoon of 23 October. The President will arrive in Gujarat in the evening of 22 October. He will be reaching Bharuch at 11.00 am on 23 October and leave for Delhi at 3.00 pm.

Ahmed Patel is senior Congress leader and political secretary of national president of Congress party Smt Sonia Gandhi. He belongs to Bharuch and has been served as Lok Sabha MP of Bharuch in the past.
