Gujarat completes nearly 90% rainfall of monsoon, rain in October higher than June

Gandhinagar: With the latest round of showers across Gujarat, the state has completed 89.60% (nearly 90%) of average monsoon rain(last 10 years average rain). The figure is upto 8.00 am today(October 6, 2016). During last 24 hours, the state had 12.71 mm rain across 33 districts and 182 talukas. Maximum rainfall was witnessed in Visavdar taluka of Junagadh district which was 96 mm. In just the month of October, Gujarat has received 61.58 mm rainfall which is higher than June in which there was 36.76 mm rainfall.
