Launching of human right NGO ‘ JVT ‘ conceived by DG Vanzara on October 9

Ahmedabad: Former Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir High Court who was also Judge of Delhi High Court and who is member of National Human Rights Commission Shri B.C. Patel will preside a function of launching of a new organization ‘Justice for Victims of Terrorism’ in Ahmedabad.

The new NGO has been conceived and formed by Retired Gujarat Police officer DG Vanzara who is on bail in encounter cases.

The invitation card reads: there are thousands of NGOs active in this nation to protect human rights of terrorists, but there’s no organization functional that can help to ensure justice to those innocent people, armed forces jawans, para military jawans and police jawans who are victims of terrorism, there’s no NGO active that can protect their human rights, therefore this new NGO has been formed.

The inaugural function which is scheduled to take place on 9 October at Ahmedabad’s Tagore hall will have retired IPS Shri Prakash Singh(former DG BSF, DGP Uttar Pradesh, DGP Assam and Padm awardee) as Chief Guest.

Major General(retired) GD Bakshi(SM, VSM) will be a special guest, Justice BJ Shethna(former Judge of Gujarat High Court) and Rajinder Kumar(retired IPS who was Special Director of Intelligence Bureau) will be guests of honor.

The invitation has been extended by President of this NGO who is S.S. Khandwawala(retired IPS who was DGP of Gujarat) and Vice President K.P.Raghuvanshi(Retired IPS who was DGP of Maharashtra Police), General Secretary DG Vanzara(retired IPS who was IG of Gujarat Police) and Secretary VD Gajjar(Advocate in Gujarat).
