Muslim head of Sabarmati Ashram Trust cremated as per Hindu custom

Ahmedabad: Hamid Qureshi(89) was president of Sabarmati Ashram Preservation and Memorial Trust in Ahmedabad. He passed away yesterday at his residence in Swastik Society in Navrangpura area of city.
As per his last wish, his family cremated his body as per Hindu customs.
Qureshi was son of daughter of Imam saheb who had arrived with Mahatma Gandhi from South Africa.
