Surat welcomes Kejriwal in a unique way

Surat: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Admi Party(AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal who is going to hold a rally in the city of Surat in South Gujarat on October 16 is being welcomed in a unique way here through number of posters that are very much in public discussion here these days.

One of the Gujarat titled as ‘Missing’ has Kejriwal’s photo in center. Gujarati text in this poster says Kejriwal was lastly spotted in Punjab. One should call Delhi Police if he is found somewhere. Kejriwal has been disappeared after promising 15,000 CCTV cameras, free wi-fi, women’s protection force, 500 new schools to people of Delhi.

The poster takes dig at Chief Minister Kejriwal for his prolong and frequent absence in problems-ridden Delhi state that he rules. Kejriwal has not fulfilled promises in Delhi.

Another banner reads: Such is the AAP government. Women’s development minister commits rape, Law minister has fake degree, Education minister holds liquor parties abroad in the name of education, Health minister having fun in Goa leaving Dengue-hit Delhi. There are photos of Kejriwal and all his ministers mentioned in the text in this banner.

Kejriwal-Gujarat

One of most discussed banners has Kejriwal’s photograph with Medha Patkar. It should be mentioned that Medha Patkar who is responsible to halt Narmada dam project which is considered lifeline of Gujarat was candidate of Arvind Kejriwal’s AAM Admi Party(AAP) in last Lok Sabha elections. The banner featuring photograph of Kejriwal and Medha togather reads: These are the people who stopped Narmada dam(progress) for years. These are the people who kept Saurashtra thirsty for years.

In one more poster Kejriwal’s photograph has been placed in row with Hizbul Mujahiddin terrorist Burhan Vani, Osama Bin Laden and Lashkar e Taiyaba chief Hafeez Saeed. The banner is titled as ‘the heroes of Pakistan’.

It should be mentioned that due to his recent video statement on Indian Army’s surgical strike, Kejriwal was projected as hero in Pakistani print and television media.
