Gujarat CM approves development plan of RUDA

Rajkot:Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has approved Rajkot Urban Development Authority(RUDA) development plan. Some of the highlights.
– Nyara to Sapar 75 meter road has been approved as per RUDA preliminary plan. There will be no need for demolition of buildings on this road.
– The plan has been approved in a way that water bodies will be protected for AAJI dam.
– To develop the eastern belt, a ring road connecting Pardi, Khokhdadad, Lapasari, Kalipat, Thebachada and Maliyasan has been given connection. High density (transit oriented zone) and residential zones are approved for residences and development.
– Industrial zone has been marked to setup Industrial Park approved by the central government in order to attract investment and generate employment.
– Affordable housing will no longer be limited to some zones. There will be a provision to see that affordable housing schemes are possible in various areas as per demand.
