Porbandar: Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) was signed between Junagad Agriculture University and Government of Gujarat for setting up a world-class cow sanctuary in Porbandar yesterday. The government has already allocated 2100 vigha land for this purpose in Porbandar district. The government has also allocated Rs 46 crore fund for this initiative. Government has planned cow sanctuaries at four places in Gujarat that include Porbandar, Mandvi, Banaskantha and Jamkandorna.
