Four-month long wedding mahurat break in Gujarat ends on November 16

Ahmedabad: After four-month long break, the wedding season is all set to resume in Gujarat from ‘Dev Uthi Ekadashi’ as per Gujarati Hindu calendar. The wedding season will continue for about one and half months but will have only 10 dates favorable for holding wedding and other auspicious functions as per traditional Panchang and Jyotish shastra.
The first mahurat for wedding is on November 16 followed by November 21, 23, 25 and 26. In December 1, 3, 4, 5 and 14 are the dates for wedding mahurat this year.
Kamurta will bring another break, after which wedding mahurats in year 2017 will be on
