Sany group to invest USD 2 billion investment in Gujarat, MoU signed in presence of CM

Gandhinagar: A delegation led by Liang Wengen, Chairman of China based Sany group today called on Gujarat Chief Minister in capital Gandhinagar ahead of upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Summit scheduled to take place next month.
Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) was signed for USD 2 billion investment in infrastructure sector in Gujarat on this occasion.
As per this MoU, Sany group will develop 1,000 MW wind power plant in Gujarat during 2017-2022. Sany group will also make investment in smart city development, housing, industrialization,wind and solar hybrid energy projects and equipment for wind power generation.
Industry Commissioner Mamta Verma signed MoU on behalf of Gujarat govt with Sany for extending support to obtain needed permissions, registration clearances from govt departments.
