The Prime Minister is going to launch the works for 500 mt oil facility today. This has been done nowhere in cooperative sector. By June our groundnut oil facility will be made functional and supplied it to global market under Amul brand. Value addition that we applied in milk sector will now also applicable in oil sector. Banaskantha grows promengarate. We want to pack it in tin, we want to sell its juice under Amul brand. Thanks to Prime Minister, Amul has agreed for it. We want value addition in potato produce cultivated here and make chips to sell it under Amul brand. Apart from value addition in these three agri produce, we want to set up Agro park where all locally produced farm products will go for value addition. Finished products will be marketed after value addition procedures. Prime Minister’s dream for Banaskantha will be fulfilled.

Chaudhary, giving credit of progress of Banaskantha to Prime Minister said in his speech: It’s Geeta Jayanti today and it is ‘Bhagyoday’ day for Banaskantha district where after 30 years Prime Minister has come. He is also son of the soil for us. Modi transformed Banaskantha through his 15 years of efforts. Banaskantha was known as the land of famine, frequent scarcity, it was considered the most backward district of Gujarat. In last 15 years, Prime Minister with his love and feelings for this land, took it to distinct position with lot of hard work.

The district is number one when it comes to pomegranate, it is number one in groundnut, number two in Bajri and Jeera. It is number one in entire Asia in milk production. It is number one in Castor in Asia and number one in Potato in entire India. The reason for this success is Narmada water, schemes like Sujalam Sufalam, drip and sprinkler. Arid Banaskantha is green today. We produce milk but, storage was an issue. Thanks to Jyotigram Yojana by then Chief Minister Narendra Modi, power is available round the clock and therefore we have village level bulk units for cold storage and fridge facility. The district is Asia’s number one in terms of milk production. This all was done when Shri Modi was Chief Minister. In next ten years, border district Banaskantha under the guidance and due to help of Prime Minister will continue to march ahead and become number one district of India and not just Gujarat.

Chaudhary said it’s Diwali like festival in this district due to visit of Prime Minister. For last ten days village level cleaning drives are conducted. In the night people have lit oil lamps. College goer youths have campaigned for e-currency by reaching out to people and supported bold decision of Prime Minister in attempt to prevent black money, terrorist funding and in attempt to fill the gap between have and have nots. Chaudhary asked those present in this public meeting to stand up in order to demonstrate support to Prime Minister’s demonetization move. In response to this appeal, all of them present in the meeting stood up and showcased support.
