Surat: Surat Municipal Corporation(SMC) was given Rs 25,400 crore target of Memorandums of Understanding during Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2017. The SMC has however from its side shown enthusiasm and committed Rs 31,267 crore MoUs. According to SMC Commissioner M. Thennarsan the SMC will sign MoUs for 198 projects worth Rs 23,876 crore while Surat Urban Development Authority(SUDA) will sign MOUs for 80 projects worth 73,91 crore. One of MoU will be signed by SMC with Rotterdam city of Netherlands in the area of water recycling and its social infrastructure.
