Agitators puppets of Congress, their strings would be cut after polls: Nitin Patel

Mahesana: Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister and Senior BJP leader Nitin Patel today said that those running ‘agitations’ in the state were mere ‘puppets’ of Congress whose ‘strings’ would be cut after the assembly polls this year.

During the Mahesana district executive meet of the party held in Ladol village of Vijapur taluka of this north Gujarat district, Patel, who himself hails from this region and deemed a stalwart in the political circles attacked the ‘agitators’ strongly.

In an indirect reference to Patidar quota leader Hardik Patel and others leading various agitations, the Deputy CM said that they were all working on the instructions of Congress party which was desperate to regain the power.

‘They are all puppets of Congress and their strings would be cut after this years assembly election in Gujarat in which BJP will emerge victorious again despite the desperate acts of Congress to divide the society,’ he said.

Notably Patel was the main negotiator from the government side in the Patel quota stir issue.

Speaking about the fixed pay employees issue he said that with the hike in their pays, the congress now feels that it has nothing left with it on the issue.
