Gujarat govt appoints three-member committee to probe into wild bear attacks

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has appointed a three-member committee to probe into recent attacks by wild-bears on humans in Balaram sanctuary and surrounding areas in Banaskantha district of North Gujarat.
The committee will submit factual report in 30-day period.
The committee will include SC Pant(IFS) retired wild life warden and principal chief forest conservator, Akshay Saxena(IFS) additional principal chief forest conservator(land) and Ramkumar(IFS) chief forest conservator Vadodara circle.
