Survey for Rs 700 crore 6-lane Ahmedabad-Rajkot highway project on: Nitin Patel

Ahmedabad: Survey work for Rs 700 crore Ahmedabad – Rajkot six-lane highway road is on, said deputy chief minister Nitin Patel while dedicating Rs 44 crore development works at Bavla near Ahmedabad. Patel said the highway project is already approved and survey is going on at present.
Patel said the issue of traffic at Bavla cross road will be resolved with construction of an over bridge as part of the Ahmedabad – Rajkot highway project.
Patel dedicated new ARTO office at Bavla, bus station, ANM nursing training school and performed ground breaking for 492 EWS affordable housing units.
It should be mentioned here that Bavla ARTO ofice has been set up at a cost of Rs 13.50 crore, Bavla bus-stand has seen expenditure of Rs 1.34 crore while ANM nursing training school has been rebuilt at a cost of Rs 1.50 crore. Bavla EWS housing units will see expenditure of Rs 27.44 crore.
Ministers Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and Vallabhbhai Kakadia were present in this function.
