CM inspects preparations of Rathyatra at Jagannath Temple of Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Nitinbhai Patel today performed holy aarti of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and their sister Subhadra at Jagannath Temple of Ahmedabad prior to 140th Rath Yatra commencing on June 25, 2017. They inquired about the details of preparations of the Rath Yatra from the trustee of Temple Mr. Mahendra Jha and Dilipdas Ji Maharaj.
Mr. Rupani said that this is a festival of each and every person of the society. This is the biggest yatra after the one held at Puri in Orissa.
Minister of State for Home Department Mr. Pradeepsinh Jadeja, Former CM Mrs. Anandiben Patel, Mayor of Ahmedabad Mr. Gautam Shah and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
