August 18, 2017
Bhuj: The BSF patrol team today seized a Pakistani boat from Haraminala close to the international border in Kutch district in Guajrat, a senior official of the force said.
The boat was seized from near the border pillar 1163 in the Haraminala. However nothing suspicious have been found in the single boat. Some fishing equipment, diesel can and fishes were found in it, he said adding that it was most likely being used for fishing in ‘prawn rich Indian marshy area’ from where several such boats have been caught in the past.
The occupants of the boat most likely fishermen from Pakistan doing fishing illegally in the Indian waters ran away after seeing the BSF patrol boats and entered Pak territory through the nearby land border, he said.
