‘Wildlife through the lens of Pranay Patel’ exhibition opens at Kanoria Centre for Arts

Ahmedabad: The world of wild animals came alive through ‘Pics by Pranay’ – the unique wildlife exhibition organized on August 19-20, 2017 at Kanoria Centre for Arts, Ahmedabad. Pranay Patel, a 19-year old Ahmedabad-based wildlife enthusiast, showcased around 40 curated wildlife photographs featuring rare and sensational wildlife moments from various wildlife sanctuaries and national parks of India, Canada and Kenya.

The 2-day Exhibition was inaugurated today by Chief Guest, Shri Parimal Nathwani, Group President – Reliance Industries Limited & MP (Rajya Sabha) in presence of dignitaries Shri Bhagyesh Jha (Retd. IAS), OSD to Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat (Guest of Honor) and Dr. Nigam Dave, Director – School of Liberal Studies, PDPU (Special Guest).

Pranay Patel is a widely-travelled wildlife photographer. He has an enviable collection of photographs covering the exotic wildlife of India and other countries across the world like Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada and Kenya. Speaking on the occasion, Pranay said, “Wildlife photography is an unending passion for me. Through the Wildlife Exhibition, I wish to share with you all the precious moments I experienced during my photography spree to the various wildlife sanctuaries and national parks of India, Canada and Kenya. I hope that it would bring you closer to my splendid feel and experience”.

From rare species of animals to struggle of survival, the wildlife exhibition served as a true delight for the city-based wildlife-lovers, photography-enthusiasts, nature-admirers and other visitors on its first day. The Exhibition will remain open on Sunday, August 20th for all till 7 PM.
