3 PAAS leaders in North Gujarat beaten up by unknown assailants, hospitalized

Mahesana: Three leaders of Patidar Anamat Aadnolan Samiti (PAAS) in North Gujarat have been hospitalized here after attack on them by unknown assailants late last night, police said.
PSI of Mahesana Taluka police station Sonal Chavda today said that Satish Ambalal Patel, Suresh Manilal Patel and Bhupendra Amrutbhai Patel have been admitted to a private hospital. They were attacked by unknown people near Nugar circle in Taluka police station area last night while they were returning to their residences here after participating in a meeting of PAAS in Balol. They were beaten up with wooden sticks and have sustained injuries and fractures. They have alleged that the assailants had arrived in 3 to 4 vehicles.
We have filed a complaint under sections of IPC pertaining to rioting and investigating the matter, the PSI said.
Meanwhile PAAS and Congress party have jointly given bandh call tomorrow in Mahesnaa.
