Amit Shah addresses “Sahkar Sammelan” in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: BJP President Amit Shah today again hit out at Congress saying it was unable to see the Development of Gujarat which was visible to all the world and Narmada underground pipelines owing to ‘Italian vision’ and should be given binoculars for that.

Addressing the cooperative convention of the party in the Gujarat University Convention hall here today Shah in his typical style said that the opposition (Congress) was indulged in tall talks at the time of elections again and was claiming that canals have not been built for Narmada Project (which was dedicated to the nation by PM Narendra Modi yesterday). To save farmers land underground pipelines have been built for the purpose but Congress people were unable to see it and the development of Gujarat which was otherwise being seen and praised by the whole of the world. It was because their vision was Italian. ‘Congress asks why Narmada canals aren’t built,I can send binoculars to them. Modi government is supplying water through pipeline. Canals would require farmers’ land, therefore water was supplied through pipeline,’ Shah said.

He appealed them to make BJP win again with 150+ seats in Gujarat election this year for the happiness of farmers and commoners in the state. He said that BJP has given freedom to Gujarat from the earlier tanker raj of Congress rule and curfews. He said that he don’t feel fearful in replying to any query as his party and government has done nothing wrong and anything which should be hidden.
The BJP president alleged that Congress had ignored Gujarat and did injustice to it for decades. It should answer why not it has done anything during its 50 years of rule.

On the occasion he freely praised the cooperative movement in Gujarat and said that the Amul brand had become a leading one in the world.
