United Phosphorus signs MoU with Gujarat govt for Rs 6,000 crore plant

Gandhinagar: United Phosphorus Ltd has signed a memorandum of understanding(MoU) with Gujarat government for Rs 6,000 crore investment.
As per the MoU, Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation(GIDC) will allot about 6 lakh square meter land in Dahej – 3 GIDC chemical zone in Bharuch district for production of agro chemicals and intermediates. The company will create around 10,000 jobs through this unit directly and indirectly.
The company has 9 units in India along with global units at Spain, France, Argentina, Vietnam, Italy, Netherlands and China.
