Gujarat govt increases income limit for Ma Vatsalya Yojana by Rs one lakh

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has today announced its decision to give 7th pay commission benefits to employees of 105 municipalities in the State. The condition is, the expenditure for salary should not be more than 48% at municipality level. The government has also approved higher pay scale benefits to employees in 113 grant-in-aid ITIs. While Sathi Sayanak salary has been increased from Rs 10,500 at present to Rs 16,224, Vahivati Sahayak are to get Rs 19,950 up from Rs 11,500 at present. Vidya Sahayank who at present get Rs 16,500 per month will now get Rs 25,000 in non-grantable schools. 7022 teachers will be benefited through this decision. Gujarat government today also announced its decision to increase the eligibility limit for Ma Vatsalya Yojana from existing Rs 1.50 lakh family income per year to Rs 2.50 lakh family income per year. These announcements were made by Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel.
