Narendra Modi interacts with 23,000 Gujarat BJP workers through audio bridge

Gandhinagar: More they sledge mud, further lotus will bloom, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi today while speaking to about 20,000 BJP leaders from across Gujarat via audio bridge.

Around 20,000 to 25,000 BJP office bearers from across Gujarat were asked to stay alert during 4.00 to 6.00 pm today for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s incoming call. Accordingly Shri Modi’s call was received by them all. The call duration was around 22 minutes.

Shri Modi asked BJP workers to download the Narendra Modi application so that not only audio bridge but video bridge programme also can be held in future with various BJP units such as women’s wing, SC morcha, ST morcha and others.

Modi said BJP has always faced attacks from opponents, but that have been proved wrong. BJP was titled as urban party but it won rural seats as well, BJP was painted as upper caste party but it also won tribal and SC seats in big number, BJP was described as North Indian party but it also won in Southern India.

Modi said party workers must not deviate from allegations and related discussions but focus on organizational work and public contact.

Shri Modi said the people of Gujarat are connected to BJP emotionally as the people here are progressive and pro-development. BJP governments have in last 22 years made a unique identity of Gujarat at global level through comprehensive development thanks to which entire nation’s politics is not centered around development politics.

Shri Modi said, people of Gujarat put trust in BJP.

The Prime Minister also spoke to two BJP workers Mr. Humabl from Kutch and Mr. Patel from Doctor’s cell. Shri Humabl spoke to Shri Modi about dairy development in rural Kutch thanks to Shri Modi’s efforts when he was Chief Minister of Gujarat.

Shri Modi in another session also interacted with party men in his constituency Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. All together the four sessions of Audio bridge continued for two hours.
