Ahmedabad:

Aam Admi Party (AAP) today declared the first list of its 11 candidates for upcoming Gujarat assembly polls.

The list declared by senior AAP leader and Delhi minister Gopal Rai, who is also in-charge of Gujarat, at the party state head office here, includes one woman and one Muslim candidate. Of the 11 seats on which the party has declared candidates, 9 were currently held by ruling BJP while 2 were with main opposition Congress. These also include Rajkot West seat of CM Vijay Rupani.

Rai on the occasion said that the party will filed more candidates on such seats where BJP was looking weak. He said that party aims to field 150 candidates.
