Vadodara, Oct 22

PM Narendra Modi today organized an around 14 km long unscheduled road-show here this evening during which thousands of people thronged the route and jostled to have a glimpse of him.

The road-show which was not mentioned in PM Modi’s official schedule of his day long Gujarat visit, started after his public meeting in Navlakhi ground here. It crossed through Akota, Old Padra Road, Racecourse, Genda circle, Pandya bridge, Fatepura, Vuda circle, Amit nagar to reach the airport at Harni.

Initially Modi remained seated inside his vehicle and kept waving from his seat at the crowd but looking at the enthusiastic crowd jostling with each other to have a glimpse of him, he stood at his seat with opened gate.

The road-show however ended in around a little over 40 minutes. He then left for New Delhi from the airport in his special aircraft.

After that he also participated in one in Rajkot and the other one in Kandala. In September this year he had participated in a joint road show with Japanese PM Shinzo Abe and his wife and the most recent one was the one in his home town Vadnagar during his maiden visit there after becoming PM.

PM Modi during his day long visit of Gujarat, which was the fifth one of his home state in less than 40 days, had dedicated/laid foundations of various development projects. He had inaugurated the Ghogha-Dahej Ro Ro Ferry service in Ghoga after arrival at Bhavnagar airport. He then reached Dahej on the same ferry traveling with divyang children.
