Modi addresses public meeting despite bad throat, Rahul greeted at Dakor by people with ‘Modi Modi chant’

Ahmedabad: It is the last Sunday before second phase polling in Gujarat election(December 14). The second phase of polling will cover the areas of North and Central Gujarat including the seats of Ahmedabad and Vadodara cities.

Taking benefit of last Sunday prior to election, both Congress and BJP have deployed huge strength of orators and campaigners.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has bad throat, but despite of it, he addressed a public meeting at district headquarters Palanpur in Banakantha, North Gujarat for around 20 minutes. There are worries attached to Modi’s bad throat. He will not be able to speak in length in all scheduled public meetings with such a bad throat, it seems.

‘My voice is not working, but you arrived here to give me blessings. I work hard, you too do that. We work for the nation and for Gujarat. Yesterday those who cast votes did great job, now you need to do the same. I thank you again for coming here. Today my voice is not working, but I will come again to Palanpur and speak to you at ease,’ Modi said ending his speech.

In another development, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi today morning choose to visit yet another Hindu temple apparently in order to woo right-leaning Gujarati voters. Rahul visited famous Ranchhodrayji temple in pilgrim town Dakor in Central Gujarat. But the headline of this visit was that Rahul was greeted with ‘Modi Modi’ chants when he stepped outside the temple and left the place in convoy of cars. No surprise, the video of slogan chanting is viral on social media.
