In a sensational revelation today senior PAAS leader Dinesh Bambhaniya today alleged that Hardik Patel had a secret meeting with Robert Vadra in Delhi around four months back before Gujarat elections.

Dinesh who was a close aide of Hardik and also a co-accused with him in a sedition case, alleged that the PAAS convener had gone to Delhi four months back with two other people including Brijesh Patel. ‘He had a meeting with Robert Vadra there. He could not meet Rahul though. He himself informed that to us later,’ Dinesh said.

He also revealed that NCP had given Rs 81 lakh to PAAS leaders for a meeting in Botad but after it could not take place it was decided to hand the money over to the families of the 14 Patidars killed during quota stir. ‘But the money mainly lying with Hardik and Dilip Sabawa never reached the martyr’s family,’ he claimed.

He reiterated that Congress has ‘Cheating’ the Patidar community on reservation issue. Dinesh also asked Congress president Rahul Gandhi how the party will give quota to Patidars without disturbing the existing 27% OBC quota.

He expressed anger at Hardik working for Congress and appealing people to vote for the party which had not fulfilled the promise on the quota issue which was the most important point during the quota agitation.

He said that Congress had promised to include the reservation road map to Patidar community in its manifesto but it did not do so. Bambhaniya said that after the announcement of Congress manifesto on December 4, he had put forth his point in front of party state president Bharatsinh Solanki and even talked to Hardik repeatedly but despite assurances nothing has happened. ‘It is cheating with the community,’ he said.

He said that Patidar community was clever and would not be cheated by Congress.
