Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani today claimed that even though no exit polls have predicted 150+ seats for the BJP yet his party would certainly win over 150 seats.

‘It would be a repetition of what happened in case of UP assembly polls. During that also no exit poll predicted over 325 seats for the BJP yet we won that. In case of Gujarat too similar thing will happen,’ he told newsmen here.

He said that the people of Gujarat have posed full faith in Narendrabhai (PM Modi). ‘We had kept development as the main poll plank through out and it was Congress which through its controversial acts created such issues. It was Congress whose leader Manisnanker Aiyar called Modi ji Neech. It was the party which entered Rahul Gandhi’s name in the non-Hindu register of Somnath temple. It was the Congress party again whose leaders met Pakistani high commissioner during polls. Did BJP do all these,’ he said.

To a query he said that despite the negative propaganda of Congress on GST and demonetization, the traders of Gujarat fully supported BJP. Hardik Patel’s lies on quota issue were also exposed and the Patidar community has wholeheartedly supported us.
