Will cut the water supply lines of CM’s, Minister’s and BJP leader’s residences: Congress MLA

Radhanpur:

Newly elected Congress MLA and self styled leader of Thakor Sena, Alpesh Thakor, well known for his anti-government rhetoric, today again claimed that he would cut the water supply lines of the residences of CM, minister’s and other prominent leaders of ruling BJP if the water supply to farmers through Narmada canals was stopped before January 20.

Thakor, who had made similar claims last night during a felicitation function here, today again told newsmen that he would march to capital Gandhinagar with supporters in over 1000 tractors if the water supply to farmers through Narmada canals was stopped before January 20.

‘If the supply is stopped the crops of farmers would be damaged owing to the lack of the reception of the fourth round of water and in such a case I will not sit quiet. We would rush to Gandhinagar and cut the water supply lines of the CM’s Minister’s and BJP leader’s residences to make them feel the pinch,’ he said.

To a query he said that he would spend most of his time in Radhanpur among people.

He also said that he would join Independent MLA Jignesh Mewani in his campaign against illegal liquor business in Ahmedabad.
